Recently, foreign media reported that Indian tire manufacturer BKT has always focused on the off-road tire field, but the company is now setting its sights on the Indian car and truck/bus tire market. The company outlined this goal in its new five-year strategic plan, aiming to achieve annual revenue of 230 billion rupees (1.99 billion pounds/2.7 billion US dollars) by 2030.

On March 6, 2024, Guizhou Tire Co., Ltd. issued an announcement on a project to produce 6 million semi-steel radial tires per year in Vietnam.
The announcement shows that the company's wholly-owned overseas secondary subsidiary Qianjin Tire (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. plans to invest in the construction of an intelligent manufacturing project with an annual output of 6 million semi-steel radial tires.
The total investment of the project is US$227.7632 million, including: construction investment of US$196.8867 million, construction period interest of US$2.0580 million, and working capital of US$28.8185 million. This old tire company has only produced all-steel tires for 65 years.
Guizhou Tire Co., Ltd., formerly known as Guizhou Tire Factory, was founded in 1958 and is the largest tire manufacturing company in Guiyang. The company is mainly engaged in tire research and development, production and sales.
The main products include truck and bus tires, engineering machinery tires, agricultural machinery tires, industrial vehicle (including solid) tires and special tires of brands such as "Qianjin", "Hercules", "Dolitong", "Golden Tiger" and "King Kong", with more than 3,000 specifications and varieties.
