Shehzad Ahmed Khan, Consul General of Pakistan in Shanghai, Visits IBI to Promote a New Chapter of Cross-Border Cooperation in Industry Belts
On December 11, Shehzad Ahmed Khan, Consul General of Pakistan Embassy in Shanghai, visited IBI. He held discussions with Liu Quan, founder and Chairman of IBI, and Liu Zhai, Senior Vice President of IBI and CEO of TDD, focusing on topics such as industrial collaboration along the Belt and Road Initiative, cross-border supply chain services, and cooperation in the auto parts and cold chain packaging industries. They jointly explored opportunities for digital cooperation under the context of high-quality development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

The visiting delegation toured the Digital Economy Exhibition Hall and learned about IBI's current Duoduo platform operation model, cross-border operation strategies for industrial clusters, and the technological application and practical strategies of IBI SAAS.
Consul General Shehzad Ahmed Khan stated that the Pakistani government is fully promoting the 'Pakistan Vision 2030,' which focuses on industrialization and digital economy transformation, and that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor opens up broad opportunities for industrial cooperation between the two countries. Pakistan has a solid foundation in automotive manufacturing and agricultural product processing, and there is strong demand for high-quality auto parts, as well as modern cold chain packaging technologies and equipment. He suggested that both sides could focus on in-depth cooperation in integrating the automotive parts supply chain and upgrading cold chain technologies, and jointly explore leveraging Pakistan's geographical advantages and free trade agreements to extend cooperation outcomes to the Middle Eastern market, including Saudi Arabia, achieving a win-win situation for all three parties.

Liu Quan stated that IBI is focusing on cross-border industrial belts as the company's "third growth curve" and has successfully launched multiple cross-border projects in several Belt and Road countries, including Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. During the visit of the Pakistani Prime Minister to China in September this year, the company was also honored to participate in related events and hold in-depth discussions with the Prime Minister, expressing strong confidence in the Pakistani market. The company hopes to take this meeting as an opportunity to accelerate the planning and implementation of the "IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarter," using it as a leverage point to deeply integrate industrial resources from both countries. At the same time, the company is also willing to fully leverage its industrial internet platform as a bridge, providing one-stop digital supply chain services for more China-Pakistan enterprises in areas such as automobiles, cold chains, and building materials, contributing digital strength to the high-quality co-construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
Vice President and Cross-Border Strategic Planning General Manager of TDD, Qadir, and Vice President and TDD Global General Manager Danyal, jointly participated in this exchange.
