Dahongliutan Unmanned Mining System(Sep 29)
Unmanned "Excavate-Transport-Dispose" System Fully Deployed at Dahongliutan High-Altitude Mine
On September 21, as the third batch of 20 pure-electric unmanned mining trucks was formally put into integrated operation, working in coordination with unmanned excavators and unmanned drill rigs across the full process, all 50 mining trucks at the Dahongliutan project operated by Hongda Blasting under Guangdong Hongda have achieved常态化 unmanned driving capability. This marks the full deployment of the "excavate-transport-dispose" unmanned operation system at the mining area.
The Dahongliutan mining area sits at an altitude exceeding 5,200 meters, recognized as a high-altitude "life禁区." The region's oxygen content and atmospheric pressure are both less than 50% of standard plain values, with year-round howling winds, extreme cold, and extreme day-night temperature variations, making geological conditions and operating environments exceptionally harsh and complex.
Facing the severe tests of this extreme environment, the project team rooted themselves on the snow plateau and tackled challenges systematically. By the end of 2025, they successfully completed the modification, debugging, and trial operation of the first formation of 10 pure-electric unmanned mining trucks, successfully establishing the complete unmanned operation chain of "unmanned loading, unmanned transport, and unmanned dumping."
After the initial success, the project team continued deepening technical iteration and steadily advancing scaled deployment. They successively overcame a series of technical challenges including precise excavator positioning, precise docking and unloading at dumping areas, precise docking at loading positions, road balanced compaction, automatic obstacle avoidance, and dual-side loading. They achieved intelligent route planning for mining operations and dynamic fleet dispatching, with the entire intelligent operation process standardized for precision and efficiency, laying a solid technical foundation for full-scale deployment.
The deployment of this third batch of 20 unmanned mining trucks marks the closed-loop implementation of the "excavate-transport-dispose" unmanned operation system. On-site intelligent equipment coordinates smoothly, all processes connect tightly, and equipment operates stably and efficiently, completely replacing traditional manual operations in high-altitude hazardous scenarios and significantly improving production efficiency.
Looking forward, the Dahongliutan project will use this as a starting point to continue deepening the integration of intelligent technology with mining production, consolidate the safety benefits of unmanned operations, continuously reduce production carbon emissions, and strive to build a benchmark for intelligent, efficient, and green mine construction in high-altitude regions.
