Taking common urban driving as an example, under road conditions with frequent turns and lane changes, the lateral friction of the front wheels per kilometer is much higher than that of the rear wheels. Over a long period of time, the tread pattern of the front wheels will be worn out faster.
Secondly, for front-wheel drive models, the front wheels are not only responsible for steering, but also for driving the vehicle forward. The power output by the engine is transmitted to the front wheels through the transmission system, so that the front wheels can continuously overcome the ground resistance and push the vehicle forward.
