In 2024, Enviro received two payments totaling nearly $10 million from its joint venture partners—Antin’s NextGen Fund and Michelin—to support the construction of a full-scale waste tire recycling plant in Uddevalla, Sweden. The facility, managed by Enviro and operated under the Infiniteria JV established in March 2023, is progressing steadily, with civil works underway and equipment installation set to begin in early April. Once operational, the plant will process 34,500 tons of waste tires annually—equivalent to 40% of Sweden’s total—producing recycled carbon black and oil. Enviro has secured a long-term agreement to supply 2 billion Swedish kronor ($1.335 billion RMB) worth of output. This project aligns with Europe-wide sustainability goals, supporting Michelin’s 2030 and 2050 environmental commitments. It follows Michelin’s prior leadership in the award-winning BlackCycle initiative, reinforcing its role in advancing circular economy solutions in the tire industry.
