The results were impressive: comparing the Cyber™ tire function with and without it enabled, the system demonstrated a significant reduction in braking distance. The tests utilized different configurations of the Lotus Emeya's original P Zero R and P Zero tires.
By providing accurate information about the installed tires to the vehicle's electronic systems, the vehicle's electronic control systems, particularly key components such as the ABS, were optimized to maximize the tire's grip. This achievement clearly demonstrates the enormous potential of Cyber™ tire technology to enhance vehicle handling safety.
