The average performance elasticity of leading companies is expected to reach over 30%.
Domestically, Triangle Tire plans to invest 3.219 billion yuan to build a new high-performance radial tire production base in Cambodia, with a planned annual capacity of 7 million tires; Sichuan Yuanxing Rubber is accelerating its technological upgrade project to produce 30 million radial tires annually, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, bringing the company's total capacity to 148 million tires.
In terms of overseas expansion, a multi-pronged approach is emerging: Sailun Tire has increased its investment in its Indonesian base to nearly $300 million, doubling its semi-steel tire production capacity to 6 million units.
Linglong Tire is actively promoting the construction of its intelligent base in Brazil, with a planned annual production capacity of 14.7 million sets, targeting the South American market; and Yongsheng Rubber's Morocco project is also scheduled to officially start production in 2026, potentially becoming an important semi-steel tire production base in North Africa.
To date, Chinese tire companies have put approximately 220 million semi-steel tires and 42 million sets of all-steel tires into production overseas, forming a preliminary globalized, scattered layout.
Market competition has entered a fierce stage, with high-end tracks becoming key to breakthroughs. New energy tires, aviation tires, and intelligent tires are becoming technological frontiers that companies are vying to develop. In the new energy tire sector, by 2026, the technological focus has shifted from early "simple adaptation" to "deep customization," with companies generally adopting high-strength steel cords, aramid materials, and high-proportion silica formulations to meet the specific needs of electric vehicles, such as high load, low rolling resistance, and strong quietness.

In the field of aircraft tires, technological breakthroughs are constantly emerging: the biomimetic synthetic rubber aircraft tire independently developed by the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry has achieved full-chain independent control from materials to design, utilizing digital industrial software for forward design, possessing excellent adaptability to extreme environments, and effectively reducing dependence on natural rubber.
In the field of smart tires, integrated sensor and wireless transmission technologies are maturing, enabling real-time online monitoring of tire pressure, temperature, and wear status. This is driving the transformation of tire maintenance from "regular inspections" to "condition-based maintenance," elevating the industry's level of intelligence to a new stage.
Intelligentization and greening are becoming the core driving forces for industry transformation. In terms of intelligent manufacturing, 67% of large-scale tire companies have already deployed industrial internet platforms.
Zhongce Rubber's Dajiangdong plant has deployed 18 AI-powered intelligent agents to empower production processes such as quality inspection and equipment monitoring. Sailun Group's industrial internet platform has achieved closed-loop management of the entire process from raw material preparation to finished product delivery, significantly improving production efficiency and product consistency.
Regarding green transformation, facing pressure from international policies such as the EU's carbon border adjustment mechanism, companies are accelerating the implementation of green manufacturing technologies such as bio-based materials, retreadable tires, and low-energy processes. Full-process carbon footprint management is gradually becoming a standard feature for companies going global.
In terms of raw material innovation, core materials such as rubber, carbon black, and silica are undergoing a new round of upgrades. Technologies such as nanocomposite materials and new silane coupling agents are being rapidly applied, providing a solid foundation for improving the overall performance of tires.
The global market landscape is being rapidly restructured, and China's tire industry's influence continues to strengthen. In 2025, my country's total exports of truck and bus tires reached 2.7891 million tons, and passenger car tire exports reached 1.9403 million tons, maintaining steady growth in export volume. Leveraging large-scale production capacity, continuous technological breakthroughs, and comprehensive cost advantages, Chinese tire companies are accelerating their expansion of global market share.
