On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of CITIC Heavy Industries Machinery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CITIC Heavy Industries"), on October 20, the 220-ton rigid mining truck and 90-ton pure electric wide-body vehicle jointly developed by CITIC Heavy Industries and CITIC Equipment were officially rolled out in Luoyang, Henan Province. On the same day, the scraper intelligent robot operation system independently developed by CITIC Heavy Industries was also unveiled.

The 220-ton rigid mining truck rolled out this time is designed for mega-scale open-pit mines with an annual output of tens of millions of tons. The vehicle stands approximately 7.4 meters tall, with a rated payload of 220 tons and a service life of 15 to 20 years. Equipped with an 1,864 kW high-power powertrain system and AC-DC-AC electric drive system, a long-life rigid body and multi-level safety protection system, it can achieve all-weather, high-intensity continuous operation, providing "hardcore" support for large-scale mines to reduce costs, increase efficiency, and maintain stable and high output.

The 90-ton pure electric wide-body vehicle stands approximately 4.6 meters tall, with a rated payload of 90 tons and a service life of 3 to 5 years. The vehicle is equipped with CITIC Heavy Industries' self-developed operating system and controller, and has completed specialized parameter calibration and tuning for extreme environments such as heavy-load bumps and high-low temperature alternation in open-pit mines. It features zero emissions, low noise, and high-stability operation. The vehicle is also equipped with a standardized autonomous driving interface, enabling rapid upgrades to smart operation modes, making it a key transport equipment for building a green and smart mine full-scenario operation system.

Currently, the domestic mining industry is accelerating its transformation toward intelligence and green development. Unmanned transport in open-pit mines has gradually transitioned from demonstration pilots to rigid construction requirements. CITIC Heavy Industries is proactively undertaking the national mining industry layout for the 15th Five-Year Plan, fully leveraging its technological accumulation, equipment manufacturing capabilities, and industrial integration synergies to connect the full-chain technology and equipment system covering mining, loading, transport, crushing, grinding, and beneficiation.

The successful rollout of the two mining transport vehicles extends CITIC Heavy Industries' traditional advantages in crushing and beneficiation equipment to the mining transport segment, continuing to build a new development pattern of multi-industry synergistic efforts.

The scraper robot intelligent operation system unveiled in the same period addresses the pain points of high-risk manual operations underground. Using CITIC Heavy Industries' self-developed operating system and controller as the core, it has developed a high-precision, high-real-time, high-dynamic-response drive-by-wire chassis, deeply integrating visual inspection and electronic access control systems to achieve autonomous transport in underground mine tunnels and remote-controlled scraping, loading, and unloading from surface, effectively promoting the unmanned and intelligent upgrade of underground scraper operations and safeguarding underground mine scraper safety.
